The Collector’s Home involves the addition of an attic level to a Good Class Bungalow and extensive alteration of its interior. The house is refreshed with a modern aesthetic and palette of natural materials. The client's art collection inspires the language of screens applied throughout and is prominently exhibited. The 1st floor plan is re-organised to create flowing, flexible spaces that can be used to host a variety of social events. Carefully framed views of the surrounding lush garden adorn each room.
